Armenia and the War

The misery inflicted upon Armenia during the First Worl War remained far less known to the outer world, even when it was way more terrible. The Armenian people have had the most to tolerate of all the people whom this war has brought misfortune and suffering. With that in mind, the author gives facts, with many details describing the pain Armenians went through. He explained how to whole Armenian population was seized, people were brutally slaughtered, women were sold like objects, and people were torn from their homes.

The author, A. P. Hacobian, was an Armenian gentleman. He writes about the suffering and agony of the Armenians with personal knowledge and patriotic sentiment. He states the case of his fellow citizens with a moderation well suited to inspire confidence.
